Whittlesea Photography Club was founded in 2006 and was formally incorporated in 2014.  We are an active club with monthly evening meetings and regular outings,  We welcome members of all levels and encourage the group to share their knowledge and experience to all members. Meetings are held the last Thursday, and some 3rd Thursdays of each month, January through to November at 7:30pm at the Whittlesea Fire Brigade, 11 Laurel St, Whittlesea VIC 3757.  

The club runs the annual photography competition at the Whittlesea Show in November which is open to all photographers to enter.

Aims of the Club

• To provide the opportunity and means for members to pursue their interest in photography and to encourage and support members in developing and improving their photographic skills
• To facilitate the mutual exchange of information within a cooperative and friendly social environment
• To hold regular competitions as a means of improving skills and to provide an opportunity for members to display their work
• To organise outings and workshops in order to widen members experience of photography
• To contribute to the local community and wider causes, wherever practical, by supporting selected charities from time to time
• To enjoy the wealth of knowledge from club members and guest speakers
